PIC LITTER

Winchester Litterpickers received a warming pit-stop from their local MP during a morning’s work in the Fulflood area of the city in late March.

The group, led by chairman David Jones, organised one of their ‘sorties’ in the area – and city MP Steve invited them in for tea and biscuits at his office based on Stockbridge Road.

Steve says he’s always keen to support them: “Winchester Litterpickers turn out come rain or shine to help keep our city streets clean and tidy. This was just a chance for me to thank them for their work and to warm them up before they set about their work, which today was in Fulflood. David Jones and his team are a great bunch and it was nice to chat with them as always. I hope local residents noticed a difference after they had swept through.”
