Overall statistics

Symonds

Highlights

Ø    Students gained over 602 A* grades. These very top grades account for just short of 12% of the total grades at A level.  This

represents a further improvement on the already high proportion of A* grades last year.

Ø    Nearly two thirds of A level grades were either A*, A or B grades (62%).  These are the grades needed to gain a place in Britain’s very best universities.

Ø    17 Students scored a remarkable 700 or more UCAS points; (i.e. the equivalent of an astounding 5 or more full A levels at the very top A* grade).

Ø    181 students scored 560 or more UCAS points which is the equivalent of 4 A*s at A level.

The Principal is Stephen Carville:

“Year after year, our students achieve truly remarkable results and this year is no exception. It is a

privilege to be the Principal of such an outstanding college as Peter Symonds. I am so proud of what our excellent students and staff have achieved.”
