Here’s something that everyone in Winchester probably already knew… Winchester has been voted the ‘Best Place To Live In Britain’ – at least according to the Sunday Times.

Today’s newspaper shows our beautiful city at the top of the front page with a view of the Itchen looking towards Bridge Street

The paper declares that we have topped the Sunday Times ‘Best Places To Live Guide’ – thanks mainly to our festivals, shops, outdoor spaces and our community spirit.

That’s aside from the quality of our schools, restaurants and low crime rate.

Winchester – the not-so-secret secret…

Well, thanks to the readers of the Sunday Times for pointing all this out.

We already knew.

At least it gives us an excuse to publish some more beautiful pictures!
