A Birthday Message

It’s Sunday 2 July 2017 – and a day to celebrate for us here at Winchester Today, as it’s our fifth birthday!

I cannot believe it was five years ago that our MP Steve Brine came for a cup of tea with me to read our First Edition (as pictured.) We had to be indoors though, as it absolutely poured down with rain on our launch day – and for the rest of the week! As Steve has told us – here’s to the next five years, and beyond.

In the meantime, thank you – one and all.

“Cheriton Players have great pleasure in congratulating Winchester Today on achieving five years – and are very proud to be associated with this fine journal. The support they have shown over the years, both in print and on the radio, has been immense. Happy Birthday, WT!”

Happy 5th Birthday from all of us at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance! We rely upon the oxygen of publicity to spread the message about our life-saving work and help us to raise the £9,000 a day needed to keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives. We are hugely grateful to Winchester Today for their on-going support.

“It is a great testament to your hard work and the loyalty of your readers and advertisers.”
